The food was absolutely delicious and fresh! We had dinner there the other night. We felt great afterwards. The perfect full. Did not feel gross like we normally do after having take out. We found our new Friday night take out spot!
Amazing food, servers were very nice and has a very nice laid back atmosphere. very good for a casual meal or even to get a sweat treat with their boba and dessert. Amazing restaurant, I highly recommend!!!
What a gem. This is a low key place that delivers a lot of flavor. The ambiance was a good combination of traditional and modern. Service friendly and attentive. We ordered the roti, mango salad, mango curry and pad Thai. Everything was tasty but the roti and mango salad stood out. We also got bubble teas. We loved the matcha bubble tea.
I had lunch here with my son a few weeks ago and the food and service were great. We sat a at table that jad a nice view of Lake Carmel. I had the Pad Thai noodles with Mock Duck and my son had the Kie Mao. Both were excellent and the waitress was excellent as well.
Thai Golden definitely is a favorite for me and I can't wait to eat here again. The storefront is decorated with lovely plants all over. The servers are friendly every time and the food is always ready pretty fast. My favorite dish is the Pineapple Fried Rice, which is the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and umami flavors. The Steamed Dumplings were also fantastic. My favorite boba to get is the Mango Boba, as it's not too sweet but still has a great flavor. There's also plenty of options for boba if you're not a fan of the standard black tapioca pearls. The mango and lychee boba have both been the perfect addition.
I was in Carmel a few times for work and Thai Golden was hands down the best restaurant that I tried there, and perhaps maybe even had some of the best Thai food I've had EVER! The beef noodle soup is truly so amazing, that I'm sad I'll no longer be working there because now this dish is a 50+ mile drive from me lol. The soup is so sweet and flavorful and the BEEF, SOOO tender and perfect taste AND they give so much of it! I would order this dish again and again. I've also tried their shrimp Shumai dumpling appetizer which was good, and the green curry lunch entree that was also amazing. The restaurant itself is cute, the left half is a mini gift shop that I unfortunately didn't get to check out, and the right side is filled with tables for dining in. Service was also always friendly. Can't wait for the day that I get to come back!
